There will always be a reason to wait.

Until you know more.
Until you're more confident.
Until the idea is perfect.
Until you have more money, more experience, more proof.
Until that little voice in your head finally decides you're qualified.

But here's what I've learned:

Ready isn't something that arrives and gives you permission to begin.

Some of the most important moves I've made in business and in life happened while doubt was still sitting right there beside me.

I moved anyway.

That's part of why I built The Posh Girls Club in the first place.

For women who know there's more they want to build, create, change or become—but keep finding perfectly reasonable reasons to wait.

I've spent more than two decades building brands, businesses, communities and customer experiences—from entrepreneurship to startups to corporate rooms.

I've started things from nothing.
I've helped grow what already existed.
I've stepped away.
I've come back with an entirely different perspective.

And one thing has remained true through every version:

You don't need to eliminate the doubt before you make the move.

That's the Red Lipstick Era.

It's not really about lipstick.

It's about what the lipstick represents.

The moment you decide the doubt doesn't get the final vote.

You can question yourself and still move.
You can feel uncomfortable and still move.
You can walk into a room before you feel like you belong there—and know how to hold your own once you arrive.

Because confidence isn't always what gets you started.

Sometimes starting is what builds the confidence.
